I’ve completed the contact form – what’s the next step?

We’ll get in touch and ask you a few more questions about the exact nature and scope of your project. We’ll then put together a quote and project proposal, outlining the processes and time frames involved.

How much will it cost?

We will give you a full breakdown of costs in your quote, including any ongoing fees like hosting and optional site maintenance. YonYonson work hard to keep our processes streamlined and our prices affordable. Many different factors influence cost, e.g. whether you need us to provide ecommerce facilities, logo design, photography and other content. We work with most budgets, and will create the best website we can within your budget.

How long will it take?

This depends very much on your individual project. If you have a deadline in mind please let us know on the contact form. Websites usually take from a week to a few weeks depending on their complexity. Please note that the speed with which you send us your content is a major factor in determining how long a website will take to complete. We cannot begin the design process until we have all of the content. Most clients are surprised at how time-consuming it is to prepare text and images for their website, especially start-ups who are still working on their business plan. How do I prepare the content for my website?

We give our clients extensive support and advice on preparing web content in our Toolbox, at no extra charge.

How much will I be involved?

You can be involved as much or as little as you wish. Some clients like to collaborate with us quite closely, whereas others prefer to stand back and leave the project in our hands.

What support/ maintenance do you offer after the site is completed?

We will draw up a personalised maintenance plan to keep your website tuned up, or if you need extra support after the completion of your site.

Do I need to buy my own domain name and hosting?

This is your choice. YonYonson provide a complete web design and hosting service. We will host your site and purchase your domain name for you. This is subject to an annual renewal fee. If you need a site redesign and already have your domain and hosting we can transfer these to our servers if you wish.

Who owns my domain name?

You own your domain name. It is easier for us to administrate it while we are hosting your site, but if you choose to move to another provider, we will be happy to transfer it for you.

Do we need to have a face to face meeting?

Not necessarily. We have designed successful websites for many clients by communicating via phone, email, and other online tools. However, we do feel that it is productive to have a face to face meeting in the early stages of a project.
